Family Reunions

Hola Familia,

It's been a long time since I've commented on this site. I do enjoy reading what you all have to say. It really keeps our family together.

It has been a very busy 2 months since George passed away. It was sad to see him go, but I am happy to say that he is in a better place. Life is slowly going back to normal. We will be having a memorial for George here in Atlanta on the 4th of July. It will be a small one, but it will be in honor of his life with us. We do understand that some can not attend, but we will remember you all on that day as well.

I know we all live in different parts of the country. California, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan and Georgia..... Did I miss a state? We all need to get together every 2 years for a family reunion. But we really do need to make an effort on being there. Our family is big and is continuing to grow. Now with facebook, texting, family blogs and emails.... we do keep in touch with each other frequently.

We all need to come up with ideas on what to do at family reunions. "Disney World, Universal Studios in Florida or California, Camping, Hawaii, Las Vegas" just throwing out ideas. We are up to anything. All we want to do is get our families together, have a good time, and not let time pass before we speak or see each other again. I know we are busy with work, kids, school, activities etc., but lets make an effort on making this work. Let us begin a tradition and pass it on to our kids and so forth and so on.

Tell me what you all think? Ideas? Do we want to plan on a Reunion next year.... ?
