No power blows

We had a really bad storm come through our area of Memphis (Bartlett) and a tornado came through. We were at the grocery store at the time. It literally came out of no where. It had been sunny all day. So right when we were checking out at Kroger I looked outside and it was black. I looked at the cashier and said, "now that's a Houston storm". LOL there were tropical storm force winds and tornados. The brilliant kroger manager locked us all in the store and started a panic. So billy decided he didn't like being held against his will and opened the door, got our car and we went home. By then it was pretty much all over. There were trees completely uprooted and in the road (3 trees down in the short mile drive from kroger to our apartment) and we had no power. So in the end 145,000 ppl without power, and on day 3 they have just now got to our neighborhood. We had to take our food to Neldas cuz she had power. Luckily it hasn't been too hot, our apt is in the shade. But it's very boring. We went to Robbie's last night and made fajitas. They were very yummy. And, cuz I know you were all wondering, my plants are fine. The spider plants and my hibiscus didn't even budge. Even my pimiento and tomato plant survived without any damage.

Love is all you need
